Owner/Licensed Nail Technician/Makeup Artist
I began my love of makeup at the age of 16. I had the opportunity to work with an"amazing" group of people at Kham & Nates shoe and clothing store back home in Chicago. This is where I had my first experience at the Fashion Fair makeup counter. My love for makeup and nails has allowed me the ability to meet and work with a lot of amazing people. After having done makeup for many years I decided to attend Dudley's Beauty School for nails in 2007. I began my career as a "nail artist" at Kanvas Salon later that year. That journey in my life led me to where I am today. I've always wanted to open my own business and what better way to start a business, doing two things I love, makeup and nails. I was fortunate enough to have very strong, influential women in my life, my grandmother, mother, and aunt. My mother was my "rock" and my biggest supporter. My aunt and makeup artist was "creativity"-the reason why I began my love of beauty. My grandmother was the wisdom and knowledge. Because of these three women teaching me about courage, love, belief, and dedication I am the woman that I am today. They taught me to have the courage to step out on faith, believe in and love what you do and be dedicated to it.
I was excited to add nail technician to my list of creative services! I am an artist: spoken word artist, music artist, and visual artist. As an artist, I believe my work is service to people. I inspire people and relate to them through visual, written, and audio displays of the human condition. I approach being a nail technician the same way. For me, it is art and service to take care of the beauty and health of my clients' nails. For example, as an artist I come up with nail art and also learn beautiful techniques for a beautiful manicure. This career allows me to paint nails with nail colors and hues from the best brands which excites the visual artist in me! Nails become my canvases! To be an artist and a woman, I feel fortunate to have a creative career, a trade that I can depend for self-sufficiency, and the freeing satisfaction of being my artistic and caring self.

"Bringing chemistry to the industry through our knowledge of nail and skin care and how it relates to the human body."
At Nail Chemistry we strive for excellence in customer service. Our "ultimate" goal is to pamper our clients from start to finish. Your service will begin by filling out a client consultation form so that out staff will be informed of any health issues or personal concerns that clients will have regarding their service. If you are a new client we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment allowing time to complete the consultation form and giving us the opportunity to speak with you.
